After finding out I had diabetes, high cholesterol and overall poor health from an annual exam, I decided to make a lifestyle change. I started making healthier meal choices and working out with on a regular schedule. Eventually I was down 80 lbs and my next annual visit led to me being taken off of the diabetes medication and all my other factors such as cholesterol, triglycerides, etc. were in normal ranges. I fully understand the cravings, the desire to stay in bed when working out isn’t convenient and feeling left out when everyone else is eating that birthday cake.
